That leads me to an idea...
How about a video of Deathball's history?
At the beginning some (crappy) 0.9 scenes, then maybe 1.3, 1.9b, 2.2 and then something with the new models - Or the first version of DB, then after a year, then after the 2nd year...
It's just an idea though, i have neither the ability nor the time to make such a video myself.

but in the end i find it to be no good help for deathball.
if i was a noob these scenes would rather scare me away i think
not only the ugly map, also the annoying camera movement, the skill-less players in the movie....

I dunno. the annoying camera movements are to make it look more action packed.. it comes across all right... any publicity is good publicity. remember that.

i like the non crowded scenes (with only 3 players) and the ball bouncing around.. gives you a nice feel of the physics..

not all publicity is good, because i _think_ that it's nothing like a good deathball match, and doesnt show good things

well no its not like a good match.. but i'm just saying. the more the name deathball is out in the community the more likely someone might be tempted to check it out. even if they see a bad quality video.

but if they see a video like that, they'll think that deathball's shite and they won't bother.

just for4 fun when the new models come out i will make a nice vid...ask the Unreal Demolition guys ...i can make sone nice quality vids

DavidM, you should consider asking Dev to make a DB video(if he wants to), he did a great job with the UD one he made for us a while ago.
