Hunh. It's a penguin, and it lived on the South Pole. When it traveled "halfway around the world," it actually moved only a few yards because the circle of latitude was so tiny.

Think about what is one the other side of the planet from there and how it ends up being the same place

Oh it does live there in one sense but the phisical from of the creature doesnt live there
