That's, it, I'm calling NTL NOW! They may have shit service, appalling techinical support, and more reliability problems that you can shake a 10 foot clown pole at, but they give bandwidth. Sweeeeeet bandwidth.

What Dad? We can't get 1mb? Only 512k? Even if I offer to pay? OMGWTF!!!!1111oneoneoneeleven. And still get charged 20-odd quid a month for the priviledge?

i use ntl, had dialup then when they started charging i got 512 and now on 1meg since a few months ago, there bad? o_O

had little to no problems with them.

anyway sucks to be on a 56k again
